  • if you lived separately and either of you had been involved in a conjugal or common-law relationship with a third person,
  •  if you have been admitted to Canada but not examined by CIC, and
  •  if you have an existing sponsorship agreement that is still in effect at the time of filing a new sponsorship application with CIC
